As an Islamic NGO upholding dakwah (inviting to Islam) and tarbiyah (educating and upbringing mankind), which is based at the heart of the capital city, IKRAM WP acknowledges the colourful diversity in our vibrant society. We see this as a source of great strength that will of tremendous benefit to our nation when blended at its best. In conjunction, IKRAM WP also acknowledges the contribution made by all members of the society regardless of ethnicity and faith, towards the development of our beloved nation.
IKRAM WP also urges all members of the society to continue reciprocally respect among ethnic groups and faith, so peace and harmony will avail.
IKRAM WP will continue to be committed to cooperate and work together with any parties to upraise truth and goodness to establish a civil society in Malaysia. This approach is in keeping with the divine teachings of Islam that brings rahmatan lil ‘alamin (mercy and blessing to the whole world) including mankind and the environment.
This year, IKRAM WP will continue its yearly tradition to support programmes celebrating the Chinese New Year organized by IKRAM Headquarters. Details regarding these festive events will be announced in a separate heading.
