Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM) closely follows the development of the tragedy of the earthquake that recently hit Nepal, claiming more than 3,200 lives so far.
IKRAM wishes to express its condolences to the government and the people of Nepal. IKRAM is also concerned with the situation facing Malaysians there and prays for their safety and peace of mind.
IKRAM congratulates and expresses its gratitude towards the Malaysian government for its swift action in delivering assistance and transfering affected Malaysians to safe areas. IKRAM through Humanitarian Care Malaysia (MyCARE) is actively monitoring and evaluating the developments in Nepal to identify the needs and support required that can be delivered as soon as situation permits.
IKRAM calls upon all its members and Malaysians in general to pray for the welfare of all victims and for the safety of Malaysians who are still there.
