SERI KEMBANGAN – Hj. Badlishah Sham Baharin has been reinstated as President of Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM), as has Jusni Yusoff as Deputy President for the 2026–2030 term.
Along with 10 other Central Committee members and the women’s wing central leadership, they were appointed through the IKRAM Leadership Elections during the first session of the National Representative Council (DPN) for the said term, held on 21–22 February.
The DPN session also appointed two new IKRAM Vice Presidents, namely Dr. Sabariah Baharun and Ustaz Tajul Arifin Che Zakaria.
Meanwhile, Mohd. Hafiz Abd. Hamid continues to be entrusted with his responsibilities as Secretary-General, while Hj. Ismail Yusoff Awang remains Treasurer.
As for the women’s wing of IKRAM, Prof. Dr. Norhasmah Sulaiman was appointed Women’s Chief, and Hazdiana Bahari as the new deputy.

In related developments, the DPN leadership saw Prof. Dr. Arshad Ahmad elected as Yang Dipertua of the DPN, assisted by Hj. Abdul Jalil Abdullah as his deputy. The position of DPN Secretary is held by Ir. Zubair Tholudin, while Asma Adnan was appointed Assistant DPN Secretary.
To strengthen operations, IKRAM’s Constitution allows the President to nominate a maximum of nine individuals to become new Central Committee Members, with at least three of them being verified DPN members.
According to Mohd Hafiz, this election is part of IKRAM’s internal democratic process based on the principles of mutual consultation, trust, and collective responsibility in ensuring continuity of the organisation’s leadership.
Consequently, he called upon all IKRAM members to continue giving support, encouragement, and their prayers for the new leadership in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them in strengthening IKRAM’s role in society.
